About us

Hugh McCabe holds a BA (Hons) in Business & Law and LL.M (Master of Laws) in International Law from Nottingham Trent University.

Having worked with the Refugee Legal Service, part of the Legal Aid Board, and having qualified as a solicitor in private practice in Dublin in 2008, with a focus on Civil Litigation, Hugh was also admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales in 2009 and Northern Ireland in 2010. Hugh has also worked for the Immigrant Council of Ireland.

Hugh also holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Research and a Law Society of Ireland Certificate in Criminal Practice and Procedure.

Hugh McCabe Solicitors was established in 2011.

We have a keen interest in the practise areas of Immigration & Asylum, Human Rights Law, EU Law, Employment Law, Social Welfare Law, Family Law, Debt Collection, Personal Injury and Litigation.
